Lord Shiva and mountains

There is something with Lord Shiva and snow mountains. This is no different and gives you eternal peace.

A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva situated around 60 km from Gangtok. There is manmade lake next to it. As always a great place for Shiva worshippers. A good place to visit if you are on a long vacation.

THe lake is a manmade lake and some boats are there, felt like a scam, not worth travelling this far.

As the name suggests, the Mandir is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It takes about 2 hours to travel to this quaint Mandir, situated abbout 60km away from Gangtok

it is a great place to visit. The road to this temple is covered with dense clouds. But since it is situated far from Gangtok at least half a days journey is required which in my view is not fruitful until you plan for a long vacation.

It was a most peaceful roaming under the open eyes of Lord Shiva. Beautiful sculptures attracts. One needs sufficient time to go around properly. At least half-a-day must be given for this visit.

Great place to visit. The place comes covered with clouds. The ride itself is wonderful. The legend of this place was not very clear. Some part was under renovation.
