This point is one of the key item in the local sight seeing trips. About 10 km from the city. Need to climb few stairs to reach the point. If clear sky then you can have nice view of Kanchanjanga snow peaks and city. The place has some shop where you can buy momentos and have nice hot coffee. Once... More

One of the main viewing points. Worth the drive, the mpuntains are spectacular. If anyone has problems with climbing steps, this site is not for you.

It is situated along the North Sikkim Highway. It is only 8 kms from Gangtok. From this point one gets a breath taking view of Mt. Khang-chen-Dzonga. One of the most graceful peaks in the world. An Observetory Tower, Cafeteria and public amenities have also been recently added. Ideal time to visit here is early in the morning.

This view point is included in local sight-seeing. You can go and just take photos. thats all. and it is really awesome. you can find this type of view point on each and every hilly tourist spots, but if you are in Gangtok you can very well go and see the gangtok and around from here.

Awesome view :) It is said that Kanchenjunga can be viewed from Tashi. But unfortunately it was way too cloudy when I visited. You can see the entire city from Tashi View Point. I went mad with my phone clicking pictures and having fun. Must-visit!
