It was my second visit ..it's an amazing experience. Lot of Animals are there N u can easily see them . However, there are only few reptiles . I think management need to take care of that .
Otherwise, good facility of toilets .

Should be one of your start of the day destination while in Gangtok with young kids. It's like a nature walk with a few animal enclosures en route. Kids particularly like the red panda which is not a regular inclusion in city zoos

The one day sight seeing trip you mentioned is too far apart, for instance Rumtek monastery is 1.5-2.0 hours drive from Sikkim city centre. Banjhakri falls, Ganesh tok, Hanuman tok, Himalayan Zoo are in 1 sequence, while flower exhibition, rope way and cable car are closer to city centre. You might need to spend 2 days to cover these spots. Himalayan zoo can be covered in 3 hours, but you can combine only with the above mentioned. Hope this is helpful
