You can enjoy watching sunrise here and evening is good too. Don't bath in the beach. It's quite rough and dirty due to fishing motorboats.

There is nothing extraordinary about karaikal beach. Best time to visit this beach is early morning at the time of sunrise. It's a small one. Local people visit here just for a change. Place is safe. But one can't expect beach side yummy yummy food...More

The arasalar river merges with the beach and creates a lovely spot. The beach was clean when i visited earlier this month. Nice place for those who stay at karaikal to spend time with friends and family. Many people were doing the morning exercise here.
