Lovely and clean beach made of fine yellow sand that creates natural pools with the incredibly blue water. Quite clean. No chiringuito on site

We loved this beach, we explored most of the island during our week's holiday. The water was lovely and clear and when we visited very calm as not much wind. Also loved the lagoon that filled up when we were there, looked ideal for children.

Excellent beach to practice kitesurfing of windsurfing in the winding season. Since wind is mostly offshore here, it is good to contact the René Egli shops and inquire about the rescue service.

Stunning views, beautiful very wide beach, especially when the tide is low. We go to Fuerteventura every year and visit that beach every time. A bit windy but the turquoise water and gorgeous views recompense the wind. Even better if you fancy some windsurfing

Perhaps it was because we visited in December and it wasn't really suitable for spending any time on the sand, but I didn't particularly find Sotavento Beach that attractive. It would probably have looked more inviting if the tide had been higher so that the...More

Pro mě nejkrásnější pláž na Fue (a že jsme leželi na mnoha). Naprostá nádhera, plnění laguny byl úžasný zážitek... For me this is the best beach at Fue. Beautiful, what i enjoyed the most was flooding the lagoon..

Beautiful - windy but stunning with an amazing backdrop of sandy mountains and huge expanses of beach and turquoise water. The tide fils the lagoon every other week with warm clear waters. Fantastic beach.

This beach is just awesome. Very clean, long, white sand and crystal clear blue water. Only negative thing is that is very windy. The sand is flying everywhere but still one of my favorite. Go explore it and have fun.

The beach is sandy and not built up at all. However it is very windy all the time with a constant offshore wind of 25 to 35 knots. Great for highly competent kite surfers but awful for beginners and those who want to relax on...More

There are toilets at the wind surfing centres. I have never used them but I am sure no one will stop you using them.

There are no sun beds on Sotvento beach. There are lovely dunes where you can be comfortable without sun beds. We don’t use sun beds but on the beaches where they have them they are quite expensive from what I recall is... More
