A truly unique place, stunning architecture incorporated in natural lava caves. Absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit. If you are travelling with small kids take a sling or very narrow buggy (be prepared to have to carry it up and down stairs).

Very unusual house, but requires a lot of stair climbing. We visited as part of a coach-tour; probably wouldn't have gone there specifically though.

This building is amazing, every window frames stunning views of the volcanic landscape, the walls have paintings by renowned artists such as Picasso. The house itself is beautiful, it is built into the rock, the natural geological features becoming part of the architecture of the...More

What a unique home. Great works of art and unique monuments designed by the man himself. A great tour along with discounted entrance fee if you visit his other home and works of art and studio in Haría also in Lanzarote

A very good exhibition of some of Manrique’s work, utilising the space of (one of) his house. Rooms built into lava bubbles are fascinating and give an insight into this remarkable man’s vision and ingenuity. He seems to have almost single-handedly shaped how you see...More

We are not art lovers but the house is stunning and the art could be described but contemporary art lovers as good. All told it was an excellent stop on our tour of the northern part of the island.

Loved every minute of this very unusual house. Built into lava bubbles and surrounded by such beautiful cactus and palms. It’s not a big attraction, but we spent about 2 hours here exploring the rooms, and taking in the artworks, and views, and learning more...More
