Interesting museum with fascinating photo albums. The volunteer curator was good to talk to. It is open 3 days a week and is found by the harbour.

On our first day in Kardamena, myself and my children went for a walk and ended up in here by chance. The man met us at the door and was very knowledgable about the museum and Kos itself. He explained some of the equipment to my children and showed them pictures. Lovely little place.

Whilst visiting the Windmill opposite . I visited this museum there was a small charge of 1.5 Euros to go inside. It is a house set up showing you how the Greeks lived . It is very interesting . The staff are very friendly and are there to answer any questions.

Kardamena is a quite dreaming village, now with many tourists, and it's always interesting to see old things of the village and her inhabitants, like old portraits; old music instruments, her housing and home life; to see a different fishing village without tourists;

Never got to go, really wanted to! If I ever get back to Kos, I'd love to visit at some point, I've heard some great things concerning Kos' historic folklore!

The atmosphere was so good in the cottage it felt peaceful and it was so interesting to see how people lived and worked. The sleeping area looked so comfortable and the family photographs are such a nice touch a wonderful museum.
