The beach is clean, vast and informal. It's perfect for all types of experiences. The family hired a paddle boat 🚣 to go out a bit further. It was 11 Euro for an hour and was great fun. The beach side bar & restaurant was perfect for food and drink. Although I didn't eat, the food looked fantastic.

We have been going to kalimaki for several years know and always make time to have our lunch there. The staff always remember you and are always very helpful and happy. The restaurant is in a beautiful position on the beach with great views from its elevated position.

Lovely wide stretch of beach but no sun shelter at all no seats to rest on before your walk further sunbeds available to hire if sitting in the beach at €8 a day there is the Kalamaki Beach which serves meals snacks drinks before you set off for your walk again little disappointed that I did not see the turtles... This beach is beautiful and great for families with young children as the water there is really shallow. Very clean and quiet when we were there which was 7-14th may

Walked from our hotel to the beach even though free transport was offered. I visited a few weeks too soon to see any turtle nests but the beach was well packed with tourists. The water was shallow and welcoming and there seemed plenty to do.

We visited Kalamaki Beach about 6 times during our two week stay and loved it. There are plenty of loungers that are really reasonable. The sea is beautifully clear and warm. the sand is soft, the beach isn't very deep, but we didn't mind as you weren't burning your feet off walking around. If you want food and drink there... More

Very long beach you can walk all the way to laganas beach and resort if you like, lots of opportunities to rent sub loungers or ever get some food or drink on the way , beech closed from sunset to 7am due to being a turtle nesting beach, ee haven't seen any and it very rare if you do apparently

Me and my husband walked along the beach from Kalamaki to Laganas which took about 35-40 minutes. It's a nice sandy beach so soft underfoot! Part of the beach is where turtles come to nest and is protected at night so you cannot go down then. When we visited this time there was some filming going on for a war... More
