Beautiful, clean, unspoilt beach. Soft sand and crystal clear, shallow water, so you can go a long way out and still be standing. Planes do fly low overhead, but they are not frequent and don't spoil the ambiance.

This is my favorite beach ever. Even though it is very crowded, it is quiet and so beautiful. I go to Zakynthos for this beach almost every year. We stay in the nudist side because is less crowded. The water is shallow and the sand is soft and you can see the airplanes landing too.

This was a last minute all-inclusive break, the beach was empty, ideal for romantic walks, only a few bars open but that was a plus as you are not inundated with requests to visit bars, they are all relaxed and friendly. Would recommend more for couples than families, although there are families there.

A truly lovely beach which has golden, clean sand. A bonus is seeing the turtle nests and turtles hatching, if you go at the right time of the year. The nests are protected 24/7 and are marked / fenced off. We have been on a pedalo here before and seen a turtle swimming in the sea which was quite magical.... More

One of the best sandy beaches on this island. It is possible to walk plenty meters (40-50m) on the sandy seafloor. There are almost no seaweed or other annoying things. Umbrellas and sun beds are not allowed (except specific places where you must pay) because of turtles that are under protection. The beach is clean but there are some exceptions... More
