We felt extremely lucky to have been able to get in to Ch Lafite for a tour but emailed well in advance and were able to secure a visit. I'm sure being the middle of December helped but I'm not complaining at all. Our guide Nicholas was excellent and gave a great overview of the Estate and how they make... More

If you are a wine lover and planning to take a trip to Bordeaux, you should try to email them ahead of time for a private tour. Please do not expect to see souvenirs or shops, this over 200 years old Chateau produces wines that are worth a fortune. You can also get to taste some as well and enjoy... More

We enjoyed the facility, of the first growths it was one of the more interesting storage cellers. You can peer into the caves and it feels almost like Hogwarts! Has a nice old world charm to it.

We had a private tour and tasting of the 2001 vintage with Frederic (scheduled through Bella Wine Tours). This is not a chateau you can drive up to and schedule a tour. You need to make a reservation well in advance but it is so worth it. Frederic was terrific and so was the wine! The memory of this visit... More

Wine tasting in style in one of the most famous wine producer in Bordeaux. The wines are pretty young but they are already great!

nicolas our guide was very informative about the chateau and its wine and we had a wonderful opportunity to taste an older vintage. The storage room is circular, more like a concert hall and they in fact do have them there too. Great history here so make sure you visit here.

Informative English tour by Nicolas. Good history of the chateau and the wine making process, with an awesome wine tasting. Only possible by advanced reservation, make reservations as early as possible.

This is my second visit to Chateau Lafite. Both times were memorable for different reasons. Our small group of 6 was granted the privilege to visit via our fantastic wine tour guide. We felt we were treated special, as we were taken to this working winery with employees going around doing their jobs, and we were let into their work... More
