Just a short drive up Currumbin river road from Currumbin on the Gold Coast. Enjoy swimming in natural rock pools after a morning at the beach. A beautiful rainforest valley. Good cafe. Drive a few more kilometres to Mount Cougal National Park. Perfect for picnics and bushwalking. Easy access. Probably the most accessible national park for Gold Coast visitors.

Great facilities usually that have been burnt down by some fool, however the council is making good and working hard to get the amenities back up and running asap. Defiantly worth a looks

The water looked very brown and uninviting. None of us felt particularly attracted to the place. We didn't stay. We hopped straight back in the car and kept going. There are some lovely bush... I've been coming to the Gold. Coast since I was a child in the early 80s and I had never heard of the rock pools, until some friends at church told me about it last month. So I decided to check it out. I enjoyed the very green scenic drive to the rock pools and slightly further onto the cougal... More
