Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great beach to walk along. The water is quite rough, so not really suitable for young kids. Stunning scenery and big enough not to feel crowded.

This beach was clean with lots of space to welcome more beachgoers. The water was nice and clear when we went and some people told us they had seen humpback whales breaching while we were in the area. Swimmers are permitted and there are lifeguards on duty to monitor the beach. This was one of the better spots we saw when we were at Gold Coast because there is a public park that is connected to the beach so there are places to shower and wash the sand off your feet along a nice boardwalk. The Kurrawa Surf Club is nearby and offers some refreshing drinks, ice cream, coffee and some good meals. It also didn't feel too crowded here when we visited compared with other beach areas. The beach sand is nice and soft and if you want to be near the ocean but don't want to roast on the beach you can stay in the shade of the nearby park.

This is located about an 8-10 minute walk from the Broadbeach North tram station and there are shops and affordable restaurants nearby.

Great family beach with the safety of being patrolled. Parking is good and the surf club a good spot for lunch.

What could be wrong about the white sand beaches of the Gold Coast? Nothing. Room for everyone. Love the boardwalk for walkers, joggers, e-bikers.

It's worth being a little away from Surfers itself to have the nice feel on the beach and surrounds.

Location incredible, staff were fantastic and it was such a great vibe. And to sit back and enjoy some cold drinks and delicious food on the beach… About time there was something like this in Aus. Well done Gold Coast! We’ll be heading back for sure!
