What a fantastic experience - actually 2! One day we took the helicopter over Mt Cook stopping for a snowball throw on the glacier ( in the middle of summer). Stunning views and great pilot! On a separate day we used this same company to fly from Queenstown to Milford Sound. We landed and boarded a boat for a cruise... More

40 minute Fox Glacier & Mt Cook flight with landing. Can't imagine a better, clearer, sunnier day for a trip to the top of a mountain. The weather of course is not dictated by the Helicopter Line and other trippers won't see it as we did. But by golly it was more than perfect the day we did it.

We took a last minute decision to go and we have not stopped talking about it since. We posted the pics on Facebook and we have never had so many comments! The pilots are fantastic, the operation smooth and the flight is a ride of a lifetime, sliding past rock faces you could never climb, soaring over mountain passes that... More

I cannot say enough fantastic things about this trip or my overall experience with the Heli Line. We had been planning a helicopter trip for quite some time and when a friend recommended the Heli Line we made sure to book right away. The night before we camped in Mount Cook and when we arrived at the airport we were... More

We stayed in Mount Cook Village so we were just 10 minutes from the airport. The scenery from the village was stunning, but where we flew was utterly jaw-dropping. Nigel, our pilot set the helicopter down on the ice half way up the Tasman glacier. Our guides Josh and Jane carefully checked every step as we followed them through the... More

Though the company is very professional, staff is amazingly friendly and service quality is very good, I found the entire heli-hike experience to be over rated. At about $565/person, its too expensive for what you get to see. The number of features we got to see on our hike were very few and very ordinary. There was no wow factor.... More

Thank you for your review and for your praise of our staff. I am sorry to hear there was no wow factor on your hike and that it did not compare to Alaska.
