This beautiful castle was one of the highlights of our 3 week Germany vacation. We were able to get an English tour, even though there were just my wife and myself on the tour! The tour guide was excellent and the tour was so informative...More

As per the title. It is quite small but the guided tour makes the most of it. A word of warning. The tour is only in German but the accompanying leaflet can be had in many different languages.

It was nice. We took the tour inside but we weren't allowed to visit all the floors. The main tower was under constraction so from the outside it wasn't very pretty. The view though was fantastic.

The castle and grounds are beautiful. I wish I had read reviews prior to driving out there. The scaffolding does take away some of the inherent beauty of the castle. We did not go inside and it's worth the trip, but if you're hoping for...More

I had a desktop picture of this 19th century fantasy castle for ages so had to stop by, but unfortunately scaffolding on the main tower prevented recreating the photo. The grounds are small but have some nice buildings and fantastic views over the valley and...More

A truest wonderful castle, great tour and just a lovely experience. Nice walks and other attractions near by as well as a bar and cafe. All reasonably priced and a friendly atmosphere.

My family really enjoyed our day trip to this castle. At the parking area of the castle there is a restaurant and a large open area with a slide, tire swing and other things for kids to do. If your children are older there is...More

This was nice to visit, among the many we've already seen, but this one was nice, in that it's still being used by the family frequently, and you can see personal details to preserve the surroundings.. We went early, and were able to get a...More

Another overly crowded castle (and with scaffolding on part of it). We did not go in because it was way too long of a line. Driving up to it and walking around it alone will give you a good idea how impressive it is. It's...More

Sorry to disappoint you but really there is no boat trip in that castle... or kids playgrounds. Lots of kids, though, because of the armory and the nice yard. And yes, you can enter the castle, or at least the first two... More

It is not possible to tour the inside of the castle on your own.If you want pictures of the castle inside, best to buy a postcard or brochure from the ticket office. You can pay €2 and walk around in the courtyard without... More
