Once in Mazunte, after a long relaxing day on the beach, get up and do a small hike (30 mins more or less) in the green. Take with you all you need for a cool sunset. Drinks, snacks and of course don't forget your camera....More

It's a bit of a hike but absolutely worth it for a gorgeous sunset and a peaceful beach with huge waves to play in. Find the path down the cliff face for a private ocean pool. Take a torch for the walk back if you...More

Join the hippies on a trek 1 km up the mountain and out to the point, to watch the sunset over stunning ocean views. The path starts at the cemetery, so easier to ask for directions to THAT than the trail itself. Take a flashlight...More

One of the most epic movie scene sunsets I have seen. Really beautiful spot you have to walk in a jungle cliff trail for like 30-45 minutes to get there and it's so worth it! I wish I lived year around nearby.

This is a sacred peninsular with exceptional energies. Lots of hidden gem places to find. Watch sunrise or sunset; scramble the rocks; lie on the beach (do NOT swim).

We did the walk from Mazunte in the morning, best time to do it and we get there with almost no one in the area. Very nice views!

We did the afternoon hike as recommended by others and swam at the Punta Cometa beach until sunset. This place is a must if you're in the area.
