Family day out
Jul 2021
I can highly recommend this for a great family day out. We spent 5 hours here as there was so much for the grandchildren to see and do. The staff are lovely and they do mini train rides twice a day but if not everyone can get on then they go round again making sure everyone has a ride. The crazy golf is included in the ticket price plus several play areas. Lots of animals to see and they encourage interaction with them allowing you to handle the Guinea pigs and rabbits. We listened to a talk on camels then you could have you photo taken with the camel and stroke it. They also offer camel rides and walking Alpacas for a nominal charge. They had a huge blow up cushion/trampoline surrounded by sand which was great for the kids. The admission price was very reasonable and the cafe on site did great food and drinks so don't bother with a picnic as it was well priced and very tasty. Take some £1 coins as they had go carts for £1 a go and most importantly cups of Tea ! This place was in the middle of nowhere but well worth the visit and the highlight of our holiday.( according to the 7 year old grandson) The staff were all lovely and made you feel very welcome.

Lovely afternoon

We were a bit sceptical thinking our teenage kids might not enjoy this, but we needn't have worried! They loved it!
From being adopted by baby emus following us about to the camel rides, it was a lovely few hours. Worth a visit!

So much fun!

Please ignore any negative reviews. This place was super, we had a great day out. It was feeding time so all the staff were busy in the paddocks chatting away to us and teaching our little one all about the different animals. They were being mucked out regularly, clean water and plenty of food.
A great play area and the trampoline pillow was a real winner! Would definitely visit again.

Very average
Jun 2021
Very sad to see animals in bare earth paddocks, no grass to graze on, donkeys and camels looked miserable and not looked after all in need of a good groom, play area for children was good, but even the petting area for small animals was dirty and smellie, the lemurs were in a very small pen. Took the grandchildren for an ice cream but very poor choice, only about 4 to choose from and a half empty freezer. This could be so much cleaner and well kept. Queued for a Camel ride told about 20 minutes, went back and gentleman running the rides had forgotten who he had told what to, some very disgruntled customers as well as us.

A lovely animal park with lots of variety and activities. We had a special experience as a belated Christmas gift. Lots of fun feeding and learning about the Meerkats and then off for a walk with Snowy and Socks the Llamas.
Lovely lunch included and very well looked after thoughout the day 😁

A little gem.

Not long back from another trip to Oasis Camel Park, this time with our young granddaughter. Had such a lovely time, there is a real mixture of things to do for the children, as well as the animals to see. Older children play area, and a big toddler fun area, lots of slides, ride ons and other fun bits to play on. The older kids looked to be having great fun on the new pillow inflatable! Lots of wash stations and hand sanitising stations. Toilets old, but clean. Cafe great to get takeaway food and drink. Shaded picnic area and outdoor picnic benches, or just plonk on a grassy area! Camel rides looked fun, as did the train ride. Plenty to see and do for a good 2-4 hours.Meercats, marmosets, birds, sheep, goats, emu’s,and more, our toddler had a great time feeding the animals with her bag of food. Lovely clean enclosures for the animals, friendly staff too! Very good value for money, so glad to see it busy again after all of the enforced closures this past year.

Awesome day!
May 2021
I visited to celebrate my Dad's 60th Birthday with him and my mum. We opted for the VIP package so all experiences were included. The staff are friendly + knowledgeable and they were very attentive. The experiences: started with the meerkat feed, was a good length and there was plenty of time to get photos with the meerkats as well as listen to an informative chat. The meerkats were really cute and once they adjusted to us they were really curious and engaging! The camel talk was great, it's obvious the gentleman giving the talk really knows his camels (I'm sorry, I completely missed the names of everyone). Then the camel ride was fab! Good length ride which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the ride and talk to the handlers 1-on-1. They also took tons of photos on our phones /cameras and nothing felt like an inconvenience- it was lovely to not feel rushed! Then had the llama walk, which was great, despite the fact it poured with rain! We were able to walk them wherever in the park for as long as we wanted, and again plenty of photo opportunities! Then the lemur feed who were so cute and curious! The lady with us knew a lot of info about them and gave a fab talk. The park itself is well-presented and easy to navigate. The animals are all well cared for and seem genuinely happy to interact with the visitors. They sell bags of animal feed which we used to meet the donkeys, goats and alpacas and it was so great to get the chance to have that additional interaction.

This is a great family run attraction. Great value for money. We did meerkat experience which included lunch, animal food a 30 minute llama walk and about 30 minutes in with the meerkats followed by tea and a cake. A really fun and enjoyable afternoon.

Knowlege.

A visit will not disappoint. The knowledge of the family owners was outstanding. A great deal of gratitude to the gentleman who understood and taught us the interesting stuff about camels. This park has so much more than camels. Outstanding.
