Great beach with dog friendly areas. Lovely and quiet with lots of sand - great for walking from Bacton along the coast to Poachers Pocket!

Easy parking, nothing at high tide, sand otherwise, with tall groins you can't pass. Good walk above each way. Faces north so no twinkling seas.

When the tide is out it's an amazing beach. Flat clean sand. Lovely for the dogs to run on. Ideal for children as well.

As another traveller has mentioned, parking by the beach is free at Bacton. Another alternative is to park in the small supermarket car park to meet and walk to the beach from the side of the shop.

Hi, dogs are allowed on certain parts of the beach during specified times. There are signs along the coastline, however, some of the markings have eroded so it's not always clear. Generally, you need to be careful between... More

There are points in the sea wall to use steps to go up and over. Then from the walk way you need to use steps down onto the beach. A bit difficult for restricted mobility
