This memorial is on the cliff path if you are walking from Kingsdown to St. Margarets. A memorial to the dedication of and lives lost by the men of the Dover Patrol. A great trail for a walk with fantastic views (weather permitting) over the channel to France. Note. The tea room next to the memorial is currently closed.

A lovely place, to see the memorial, the channel and the surrounding countryside. Perfect for walking, with or without dogs.

Interesting because of its history but I would not have made a special journey for this. We were walking the cliff pathway between Dover and Deal so had to pass by. Sadly the Blue Bird tearooms were closed.

We walked up from the beach and were rewarded with a fantastic view. We visited again by car. The approach road is in very poor condition but ok with care.

Went to see the memorial on a lovely sunny day and the views from here are wonderful, france, ramsgate and all along the coast. Free to park here but beware the road is very poor and full of potholes so take care driving here. Some lovely walks along the cliffs for the energetic, sadly the cafe was closed this day... More

Lots of parking and next to the Bluebird tea rooms, its a good place to visit and enjoy the cliff top views. We had a very nice walk from here towards Deal and back, not too taxing or strenuous.

Walked here with our small grandchild and her Dad the other day. A fantastic view of the sea and France. It was a bit windy and started to rain so we cut the visit a bit. Would like to return and walk to St. Margaret's Bay next time. Also, there is a small cafe right by the Dover Patrol Memorial... More

AWSOME views great for star gazers and free overnight campervans no fees . lots of campers from all over Europe and everyone talks to each other. just one thing to remember it a first world war memorial so please respect this. but to be honest everybody does.

I saw this with my daughters on a recent trip. It makes one think of all the history and safety that the channel has provided throughout history. The thinking is cooler than the monument but it is nice.
