It was a chilly, rainy, December day when my husband and I visited this beautiful light house and grounds. We did not do any research before we arrived at the lighthouse, so we were stunned when we realized that our tour included much more than...More

Had a fun afternoon, enjoyed getting to see and hear all about the history of the lighthouse. Loved getting to walk to top of the lighthouse!

This is a terrible place to visit. Also, you should not spend $6.95/person to climb 300 steps. You might like the view from the top, but not worth for your money.

One of the most beautiful light houses in our state. The museums and ground are well maintained and easily accessible for handicapped. A short drive on major interstate hwy 95.

Great place to explore or just relax and enjoy nature. Picnic tables & grills are scattered near the shore for a lovely view. There is even a dog beach there. I believe it’s $10 per car for guest admission for the day. If an occupant...More

We have an annual pass and love walking on the boardwalks when the tide is up and the beach isn't walkable. Scenic views of the jetty and inlet. Great place to surf or watch the surfers. Covered tables and grills available. Love it!

I will comment on the park itself, although before you enter the park you can visit the lighthouse and marine science center. A lot of boardwalk in the park with steps, not sure if there is a handicap accessible one. Lots of raccoons and buzzards....More

There is no charge to browse the gift shop but there is a charge for the museum and to ascend the lighthouse. Well worth the cost as you get to see how the lighthouse operates and how the lighthouse keepers lived.

Very well kept up lighthouse, all the emploees were helpful. A lot to see plan about hour and a half or two for your visit. Bring your stair shoes, you will need them for 203 steps up and 203 back down. Well stocked gift shop.

Daytona Beach is not a place to find shells. Not sure why but we didn't find any and were told we would have to travel to another beach if we wanted to hunt for shells. We ended up taking a drive to Treasure Island on the... More

I agree with Pattys33, the two restaurants at the park are over priced, though Inlet Harbor has good food. If you want a really laid back place where you can wear a bathing suit and eat at picnic tables try Boondocks a... More
