Tourist train which goes around the island of Favignana with a great informative commentary in Italian. Excellent! Only 8 euros for one and a half hours. Highly recommended.

We took the Ustica hydrofoil from Trapani and spent the day in Fravignara. Very quaint little town. We rented bikes, and explored. Was a delight to just relax from doing regular tourist stuff. A few restaurants, all about the same, gelato. The island really takes you back in time and worth the 18 euros round trip.

We have sailed a lot. Lots seen. Always have been able to see the charm of a place. But this time - really not..... Crammed with 28 like sardines in a too small pretentious little car-like-train. After the charm of Florio and its inhabitants this is no experience at all. After 13 years sailing around the world this is truely... More

Fafignana is aprox half hour by ship from Trapani. You can choose speed ship, but ist expensive maybe try traject. There are some places for sunbathing, you can rent a bike or scooter..)) Nice place to visit.

we took the hydrofoil from Trapani port across in about half an hour to Favignana. I think it would have been better to catch a tourist all-day island hopper boat instead as these take you around all the islands, provide lunch and let you off to snorkel etc..without as much hassle. Assumed we could get a fisherman's boat on the... More

We went to Favignana island. After we got out the boat we find this little train with a very friendly driver. He took us around the island and explain to us about the history of the island.

The three Egadi Islands, Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, in the north-western tip of Sicily, are the stuff of old mariner’s chronicles. Time has stood still here and the impressions of the islands couldn’t have changed all that much since the days when seafaring in the Mediterranean was more intrepid. Today the islands can easily be reached from the mainland harbour... More

Costs EUR 8 per person to go round the island, commentary only in Italian, pleasant way to spend 90 mins, although not really much to see !
