It was opened in 2018, so it’s a modern and informative, interactive exhibition. Entrance fees are resonable: Adults: 1000HUF, Students and Seniors 500HUF. It’s worth to visit it! We could learn a lot about the world-famous wine. Not only about Tokaj Region but other European World Heritage wine regions, too. I recommend it.

A very interesting, well-designed and -executed wine museum.
What we really enjoyed were the interactive displays, videos and activities, especially as they were also in English, and being given the chance to 'drive' around Tokaj!

It is a nice museum with the a lot of interactive things inside, where you can check your nose trying the different smells. And of course all the traditions and technologies of Tokaj wine are inside.

We went there to learn a little about Tokaj wines, and thst was necessary. The museum gives a good explanation / introduction, and it is very nicely set up. You follow thecway over 2 floors, it is in more languages along the route. It is a must-see place, recommended. But, the lady at the entrance does not speak anything else than Hungarian !

It's a small museum, but for wine-lovers a must-see if in Tokaj. yes, it talks about outer wine regions as well (Italy and Austria - to mention couple) and there are interactive things to do all ever the museum. The smell-test game was very surprising for us, as we correctly identifies jasmine and pepper, but could not pick the smell of rose...
At the time of our visit, there was a special exhibition showcasing the national/custom dresses of different regions in Hungary, which we found very interesting and informative.
Staff were very helpful, but we were the first visitors for the day (on the dot at 9am). As all of Europe, the museum is closed on Mondays.

Nice new place, informatic and interactive. Liked the "smell-box" where you can test your smelling abilities. Plus the very old bottles were the hit for me.

Newly opened museum and you can feel it! Everything looks new, from quality materials and very interactive.
It is a very good introduction to this nice wine region, even if it doesn't really go in deep details.
