Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have never expected to experience such a unique and inspiring wine tasting! The Erzsébet Pince is the best location to find quality wines together with professionalism, perfectionism and warm hospitality!!! Prácser Hajnalka and this Cellar are simply the best!

We were fortunate enough to visit this winery as part of a tour conducted by Taste Hungary. They do however do private tastings if you happen to be in the village of Tokaj or are driving yourself around Hungary
The history of storing wines for Russian royalty leading to producing wines for the communists from 45 to 89, to present day producing high quality wines that are different to styles of wine experienced elsewhere
The tour of the cellars is an experience in itself, followed by a tasting of 3 dry white varieties and 3 sweet varieties, with 2 of these the same wine across 2 separate vintages.
I cannot express in words the overwhelming passion that is showed during our hour long visit, only to say that with gold medals awarded from Boudreaux and London wine shows indicates the patience and detail this winery takes in producing each and every bottle.
An experience that should be missed

Not surprisingly we had never heard of this winery before. But WOW it was amazing. Tastings are done personally by one of the owners and their passion shows. We've been to many, many tastings and thought this one would be much of the same. We were wrong. It ended up being one of our favorite memories of our trip to Hungary. The wines are spectacular. Please don't hesitate to secure a tasting if you're able you won't regret it.
