Very good atmosphere.lots of different stalls.lots of interesting things old and new.give it a try.wrap up warm as it is inside the Tynemouth metro station on both sides of the platform and although dry in the winter can still be a bit cold but nice

Lots of interesting stalls to browse and the food choices are great! Spent more than an hour there wandering around and eating as much of the Greek food as I could manage!

Tynemouth Market has something for everyone, from dog treats to cupcakes, hand painted glassware to vintage finds, toys, bric-a-brac, craft items...You name it, you can probably find a stall that sells it! The food stalls and coffee are amazing, and Bennies Macaroons are a must!

The market and the station in general is a regular visiting. We like Saturday best because it is more of a flea market and we get lots of quirky items. .Also you try out the Platform 2 bar, a lovely spot for a drink
