This is the most interesting Tayalotic settlement I have seen on Menorca. In addition to the taula, there is the largest tayalot to be found on the island. Particularly interesting is a kitchen and storage area where large stone vessels can be seen. Most of...More

This is an easy to find site near Mahon with signposts to tell you what everything is. Best of all, it's free to enter. Free parking and good sign posting around it.

This prehistoric monument is worth visiting as it is only found in Menorca and not on the other Balearic Islands, the nearest reference to it is Stonehenge. Also next to it are the remains of the Talayoit(Watchtower). Here is a remainder of ancient history, and...More

Si estas en Menorca hay que disfrutar de alguno de los poblados Talayóticos de la isla; y Trepucó es uno de ellos. If you are in Menorca you have to enjoy some of the Talayotic villages of the island; and Trepucó is one of them.

Most of the archaeological sites on the island are really hard to visit if you don't drive. This one is not the biggest or best preserved but it is a pleasant 30/40 minute walk from the center of Mahon - you very quickly leave the...More

One of many talayotic historical sites but easily accessible from the main road unlike some. Just interesting to walk around, well signed with English notices, and take in the historical significance.
