This is HELL. It is the opposite of paradise. It is packed with paid chairs, and it is impossible to park. Palm trees? No. Ferris wheel instead. Don't be fooled. Nothing idyllic about it.

Beautiful beach that has lost its charm. Almost completely covered with sun beds and umbrellas. If you come after 11, you won’t even find a spare one near the sea (people book them in advance apparently). Water isn’t so clear, sometimes you can find some pink sand which is a plus but not a lot. Very overcrowded.

So I’m with my family here and it’s august. This is how you get a spot at the beach:
1. You wake up before 6am and make sure by 6-ish you are at the beach
2. You place a towel or a shirt on one of the stick they place on the beach. These are spaced apart because of covid
3. You go to the person managing that part of the beach and get a number
4. You wait until 730 when they start calling numbers. When you get yours you pay
5. Now your spot is reserved
In other words, I went on vacation but i have to wake up earlier than when i go to work.
Water is ok. It’s indeed clean but there are a lot of Algee. I have few more days and then we will head to fontane bianche on the other side of the island.
Will never come back here

This little village gem is very special. Anyone wants to come here in the summer, so I experienced the atmosphere of a fisherman's life as well.
Little, well organized, clean and quiet, this was my first image when I came in March. Absolutely beautiful. The colour of the sea was like being at Maldives Island, just better in my opinion, not so hot and because there was also so much more to see.
Mimosa plants flowers. I've never seen so many Mimosa trees in my entire life! Majestic yellow clouds over the Earth.
Spectacular.
And more: some voices from the dock caught my attention: a small boat with people on board was coming back from the morning fishing. They did catch so many fishes, awesome!
Such an amazing experience.
I highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful sandy beach and clear turquoise water! It is packed with umbrellas in these summer days. You look quite odd if you don’t rent umbrella and come only with just your own towel. We stayed in the house 5 min from the beach and we don’t like lying on the beach thus we came for a swim and returned back home. Splendid sea for swimming, the water is shallow only first few meters. The town itself is also very nice with many restaurants, bars etc., mostly located at or near Via Savoia.

This beach has a spectacular view of the mountain. Unfortunately, i do not reccomemend visit it in the summer. There were crowds everywhere, you do not have a place to change. Although , the water and the sand is beautiful but it is too touristic.

Best time to visit this place is late September or beginning of October. No crowds on this fine white sand beach and still warm temperature in the water. Best beach on Sicily. .

San Vito has a beautiful beach , it can get crowded in summer . Best time to visit is in September . The beach is a free beach that you can hire an umbrella and sun bed if you like . The water colour is amazing .

Lovely beach for families. Our toddlers (1 & 3) loved this beach as they could get in quite far without having to worry about being too deep. It's very shallow for a really long stretch and it's very calm waters. We paid €1 per hour of parking just by the port only a 5 min walk to the beach. It was pretty busy (a weekday in August), but not so busy that we couldn't find a peaceful spot and enjoy the beach. Highly recommend at least once! We ended up staying for 4 hours.

Hi. Is there free areas on the beach? We don’t want the umbrella and sun bed hell. And are animals allowed?
