A peaceful ruin in Changzhou. It is lovely for walking around. It has the zoo and the theme park next door but I think it is not worth visiting there.

It is a strange name to give a park but at least reading previous trip advisor reviews I was prepared for what I saw. The park is fairly spacious and there was a small entrance fees. There is plenty of open areas and walking tracks and the blossoms were starting to bloom so the park was gaining some beautiful colour.... More

It's a quiet spot, away from the city's traffic and noise, but don't go expecting 'ruins'. There are some earth banks that formed the original town walls and the moats that protected it, but you need quite an imagination to get much from them. Cover up because there's plenty of stagnant water in the moats that's home to bugs.

We went one afternoon with a group. My ticket was bought for me, so I can't tell you the price. But basically, it's a nice place where you can go to get some greenery in :) There really aren't too many ruins though. As I understand it, ruins were found there and then shipped out to other places. Overall, it's... More

Go on a sunny day. It's a very nice park and a lovely place for a picnic. There are next to zero ruins to see but there are signs everywhere telling of the history of this place in English, Chinese, and German. It takes about 1-2 hours to walk around the whole place. It costs 20rmb/adult and 10rmb/student, children, seniors. This... More

Went there April 2013. Even though, there was not that much of a culture to it (in my oppinion) it was nicely arranged and interesting to see.

Lovely big park and ancient ruins. Separate entrance from the theme park only costs 15 or 20 rmb. Entrance is opposite side parallel to the theme park one. BBQ and fishing area here. You can buy everything for your BBQ and rent the equipment and fuel. Lovely for nature walk.

The area has the possibilities to be a good touristy area - unfortunately everything is recent (looks like built in last 10 years) but there are no shops open. We went on a Saturday afternoon and almost everything closed up. Would not recommend unless you had time to waste.

Went there in the summer time. I was expecting to see more ruins but most of the buidlings there were newly built. The inner part of the park is surrounded by water, lots of bugs in the summer. The ruins exist in the inner part of the park nothing excavated at the site can been seen. Most artifacts are in... More
