Art Gallery - the icing on the cake at Kildare Village
I and my family visited the Kildare village today for a day out shopping and to my amazement realised there was an art gallery in the village. This is great! Massive boost to the village bringing something different. The cherry on the top. We visited the gallery and would recommend this to anyone who is visiting the village. Great works of art on display and a very welcoming owner! 🙏☘️

Great for shopping. Inadequate parking, restaurants and toilets.
I come here at least twice per month, for 21 yrs now Nothing much has changed Great place to shop. Big downfall is not enough restaurants and even queuing for all the men's toilets. Very little thought put into providing adequate restaurants, toilets and car parking. I booked my parking space online arrived and there were no car park spaces.

Perhaps not as many offers as at other times of the year
We go to Kildare village twice a year and always enjoy our visit. We have never visited in December before and while the village was beautifully decorated for Christmas, there weren't the same number of offers as there were at other times when we visited. We still managed to find some bargains especially in Molton Brown. Staff at the village were kind and helpful. We had booked 2 mobility scooters and staff were very good at getting these for us. I would highly recommend the hands-free shopping which is free for all visitors.

    First time visit.
The journey was a bit longer than expected due to Sat Nav's deciding I needed to see some of the best of rural kildare. Very happy to arrive but then I was directed to Carpark no 1 even though my friend had parked on the other side of the village I could not meet her there. Made it to the loo, spotlessly clean, and eventually met my friend after asking directions to a particular shop from one of the many security staff. Good selection of retail units. Lacking sit down eateries/coffee shops. Had a nice but very small over-priced flat white coffee at Starbucks and later some tasty dumplings from a take-out van for €9. Very friendly and helpful staff in all the shops we visited. Levis shop had quite a queue for the changing rooms which was a bit off-putting. First time visit won't be the last.

    Super day out
I took a friend from Australia on a day out to Kildare village last Thursday. It also happened to be sale day in the village. We browsed around and had a leisurely lunch. We got some great bargains and had a really relaxing girls day out

    Not bothered to return
You’d imagine that you’d get some bargains here as Kildare Village is promoting itself as an outlet. But sadly this is not the case. Staff in most stores are quite snobby. Even though I live within a hours drive it’s not an enticing day trip

Nice to walk. Not sure about shopping
Nice place to walk around, clean, nice, very beautiful playground for children, caffès, and even very beautiful toilets. Very pleasant for a day off Shopping? Not so sure… They sell leftovers of old collections. After discussing my suspicion with the assistants there, I conclude that the quality of the products might not be the same as in the main luxury stores. Also, was surprised to see that some brands bring the best models as exhibits, but not for sale! Finally, the heavy luxury brands are not there

    Blooming expensive
Called here as part of our tour on a coach holiday. Plenty of top name brands. They sure know how to change people. Didn't buy anything as I thought it was too dear, only 1 person out of our group bought anything the rest said too expensive. Places to eat and drink, toilets available

    Worth a trip.
Mostly clothes shops but well worth the visit. Plenty of other things on sale and every shop we went in to the staff were helpful and polite and very friendly. Bought items at what we thought was a decent price, when we checked online later we realised that we had got a better bargain at prices less than a well known on line seller.

About 45 min from Dublin, easy to reach, However Kildare Village is rather small and the number of shops is limited, same applies to cafes and restaurants.
The line up of shops is the usual, however they are also quite small.

If there is a more soulless place in the entire country I'm not aware of it. Kildare Village is the epitome of hyper consumerism gone wrong. Plastic people wandering around quite happily paying extortionate rates for so called luxury brands. The place exists in order to provide rich people with a fleeting moment of retail therapy happiness. Kildare Village is a con from beginning to end best avoided by absolutely everyone.

Its a number of years since I've visited Kildare Village. We drove over 3 hours with a small child to look for occasion wear and other items. Like others have suggested there are very few genuine bargains here, you get around 10% off at best in most shops. A lot of the dresses in the 'designer' shops were poor quality. It seems ok for men's wear with Gant and Tommy Hilfiger probably being the best of them. Only 2 shops for children's wear, casual only. We left with 1 pair of trousers for my husband. I won't be returning any time soon. Much better offers on the highstreet or online. Some staff can also be rude. Disappointing.

This afternoon my little son fell off a swing in the park, Gary ( part of security team ) quickly responded, and provided Luke with an ice pack..Gary was very thorough when he checked my son, and as a result he was immediately calm. Gary was very professional and caring, job well done 👏
