Recent winner of the Irish Times Best Shop for a Day Out and Farmers Journal National Farm Yard Awards we are a family run farm shop and open farm. We do not charge visitors to our farm and offer value and quality in our farm shop that keeps customers coming back time and time again. We recommend taking a few hours out to visit us as we are confident we will change the way you and your family shop! Located on our own farm we offer visitors a family friendly open farm experience, where you will see a wide variety of farm animals in a natural and relaxed setting. Visitors will enjoy a quiet countryside atmosphere, and can make the very most of their visit by feeding our farm animals or enjoying a tasty treat in our Farm Café. Experience the best of Irish Rural life for free, only a few minutes outside Kildare town. Ride the Express Train around the farm or have a go at our Indian Creek Crazy Golf.

We have just returned from a fabulous school tour at Kildare Farm Foods. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles from staff. The staff involved were so helpful, especially Liam, Tom and Jack. The children loved the train ride, crazy golf and feeding the animals. It was great to see such a wide range of animals like alpacas, ostriches and camels! To top the tour off the children and teachers were provided with a delicious lunch. The children were so happy coming home from the trip! We had a great experience here and we will definitely be returning for future school tours. Thank you!!

We just had a fantastic school tour at Kildare Farm Foods. It is the third time I've taken a class there and it continues to be an excellent day out. Liam, Jack and Tom were fantastic with the kids and did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable. Liam in particular went above and beyond to help. The train, farm tour and golf kept the kids entertained and they were very accommodating of our need for specific food.
Highly recommend this tour for classes, especially 1st-3rd, but would be suitable for all ages.

What an amazing day we had today! 57 of us went out to the farm today . They really knew how to control a crowd 😂 The staff couldn’t have been any nicer to us . Liam was a top man . Looking after us from the minute we got there . The farm has everything , games , mini golf , food drinks , trains and of course animals . Along with that we also visited the shop where we bought some food that was great value . Thanks again Liam

We booked Kildare Farm Foods for a joint birthday party for my 6year old and her friends. Liam looked after us and made sure everyhing went like clockwork. There was loads of food and different activities to keep the kids occupied. It was a lovely day and everyone enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it.

Great way to spend your lunch time, lovely food with a great food market, nice coffee and all the people working here are lovely especially Ian who stopped to give us directions and a quick chat, really nice atmosphere. Free in to the grounds and everything there is very reasonably priced. Especially the food market!

We held our 9 year old Daughters Birthday party at Kildare Farm Foods. We met Liam who is the Party co Ordinator who gave us a very warm welcome and told us the plan for the 2 hours we were in his care.
We had a great time The kids at the party had a great time and Liam went above and beond to make My Daughter feel like a princess on the day.
Thank you Kildare Farm Foods and especially Liam , You are an absolute Gentleman.
I highly recommend a visit to Kildare Farm Foods even if its just to feed the animals but be sure to say Hi to Liam.

Fantastic place to visit with adults and children alike, beautiful fresh food in the cafe, and a great little shop full of bargains, train on weekends fot the kids and lots of animals to see

Hi I am a frequent visitor of kildare farm foods and love to shop and my son(9)loves to chat to the young boys on the farm as today they had there 2 rabbits out. My sons observation every time we go is why don't they take the rubbish out of the pens and fields. I really think a recycling bin for them needs to be strategically placed so the plastic containers are not thrown in, either that or for pens to be cleared out more often. As much as I know they are treated well it just looks unkept
