Located in the restored Market House opposite St Brigids Cathedral in the medieval Town of Kildare. The Centre hosts a multimedia display that tells the story of this Historic Town. It is also an offical Tourism Office that can assist visitors to the town and region.The Centre includes a small sovenir shop where people can buy local books, crafts & sovenirs. Entrance is Free

Very friendly and helpful staff. Loads of information available for visitors. Staff went out of the way to recommend places to visit.

The man at the counter was very helpful and gave informationon local sites, the museum upstairs and directed us to a local cafe for a pot of tea.

Popped in for info on local area but found a fantastic display upstairs. Friendly lady put on films of local area for us and gave us a bit more insight to the area

Useful overview of local attractions. But really not much more than that. Upstairs had a few photos but not a real museum per se.

Find out all you need to know about the Kildare history and attractions here. Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed talking to him. They have a nice video upstairs, too. Plus they have the very best Ireland map! Better than any other!

helpful staff,very well organised for a small space. highlights attractions of the town and surrounding environs. both digital and paper-based info available. centre is housed in a wonderfully restored architectural gem.
