About
Glencullen Adventure Park is a purpose-built mountain bike park equipped with over 20 downhill MTB trails, a skills area, a pedal up track and scenic walking trail. There is a kitchen/café onsite serving pastries, coffees and the famous GAP kitchen burgers (which includes the full Irish brekkie burger!) run separately by the chef Gary. The main attraction of the park is the 5 uplift vans each fitted with their own custom-built trailer to the rear transporting bikers and their precious bike cargo to the top of the trails thus eliminating the climb and giving more time for riders to perfect their downhill technique (which some people would consider the fun part!) The GAP Team have a very progressive approach to trail building. 6 Brand New Trails in the park are expected to launch September 4th 2021. These trails are said to set the park apart from other trail centres across Ireland

Have visited here regularly, opening hours are updated as the season changes, always available online.
Recently the walk-in charge for pedal up pass increased to €8, but remains at €5 if you do it online:- a lot of fun for a fiver!!
I believe this will ease congestion at really busy times like weekends anc holidays.

A new skills area has been developed close to the car park which is pretty handy for upskilling on jumps and berms.

A huge amount of work has gone into resurfacing of the tracks, the winter wear and general wear and tear took their toll.

Again, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee is pretty good at their cafe. I’m guessing when restrictions are eased , the restaurant will be back in full swing.

For anyone who hasn’t been there, it’s just about 100 metres past Johnnie Foxes pub if you come up from “The Little House on the Prairie” church at Kilternan.

Just began using this mtb park late last year, and I must say it really is a great venue. The pedal up pass is just €5 for the day if ur on your own bike. Every thing can be hired: bike, helmet, protection etc.
While Covid restricts the mini bus lifts to family groups only, if you have a reasonable level of fitness, the pedal up trails are fine and enjoyable, but it does take up your energy.
The trails are fantastic and varied and cater for all levels , blue red and black experience and risk levels.
It is important to ride to your own level of comfort and experience.
I look forward to the adrenaline buzz of each downhill burst, and when I’m out of steam it’s time for a coffee at the on site cafe/restaurant.
Great venue, and friendly staff. It’s such a great break from Covid!!

What an amazing place! They cover everything you need - bike rental, uplifts, bike repairs and the food is worth going for even if you’re not biking! Super friendly, knowledgeable staff with great senses of humor. Views that will blow your mind on tracks that will test every skill you have. Pricing is excellent for everything on offer. All I can say is THANK GOD you’re within our 5k! Can’t recommend The Gap highly enough.

The best day out to be had at Glenullen adventure park.
We have been there many days and have had many hours of fun both walking and mountain biking.
It is a place that suits a range of ages and abilities.
Somewhere where my 13 year old girl gets to be herself, burn off some energy and feel safe in an enviroment with her friends.
The staff are very friendly and always have a smile and a word of encouragement for everyone.
The trials are exceptionally well maintained and signposted allowing a number of people to ride at their ability together.
The uplift staff are very funny and accomadaing- a experiance well worth paying for expecially for unfit people like me or my 7 year old so we can all join in the fun.
For the fitter people the cycle up trails is well maintained and keeps all the keen cyclist separate from the walkers.
Many a place walkers and cyclists don't mix but this place is for everyone.
At the end of the day the food is expectional.

Great day out ! We met with another family ( which is hard in covid times ) and had a great day. All trails are well maintained and epic fun. We stopped and enjoyed a lovely burger and fries picnic - great memories for the kids. We may even be a little fitter after it too.

The Gap is great wether you are a experienced biker or not and whether your a kid or not. They have very fun trails going from blue difficulty to black. Even if you aren’t so great on a bike the gap is a super fun experience. You can either peddle up the mountain and then ride down or you can pay a little extra and get a van to bring you up. The van is super good and is at the bottom waiting every time so you don’t have to wait. Overall the gap is a really fun great experience.

This place is a fantastic mountain biking spot. The guys at the Gap have built a really professional, well organised and beautifully groomed trail system. There's good signage, friendly staff and very quick uplifts. I was going to travel to The Gap after Christmas with my new bike I was super excited but then level 5 lockdown restrictions hit and I couldn’t travel but FOR SURE as soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted the first thing I’ll be doing is heading straight up to Glencullen Adventure Park hitting the trails!
