We RESCUE, REHABILITATE and RELEASE to the JUNGLE, Injured, Orphaned and Displaced Wildlife and provide long term care for those that cannot return. Saving Costa Rican Wildlife since 1999. Brenda Bombard's Nosara Refuge for Wildlife & Costa Rica howler monkey rescue is 1 of only 4 Certified Wildlife Rescue facilities in Costa Rica. The Howler Monkey has become our specialty. Meet the animals at the Refuge and learn about our work to improve the environment for wildlife here in Nosara and throughout Costa Rica. Now a Non-Profit Foundation, "Fundacion Albergue de Animales de Nosara" The Refuge for Wildlife offers Educational Visits by advance reservation only. We hope you will join us for a visit.

It was so fun to see the howler monkey babies being nurtured and loved. They have an impressive program to rescue injured monkeys and orphans and get them back to the wild. Definitely worth the trip to the refuge!
