this dark sand beach seems to go on forever. Shell collectors will be happy with the hoices but sand lovers will appreciate this too. Swimming is good. There are thatched shelters built along the beach but unfortunately there are no chair or lounge rentals which...More

This is a beautiful beach, off the beaten path. You will find locals and students from some of the surf schools

Best beach to learn how to surf. It’s very quiet, so much space and bordered by jungle instead of la he hotels. Magical place

The beach is one of the most beautiful settings in the world. You’d never know there was a town behind the beach as there is no construction 200m from the beach to preserve wild life. What a place !

Would love to try the horseback riding next time I visit. Just so cool that there is no development on the beach. And, the trash and recycle bins are right there as you stop off the beach. We should take some notes here in Gloucester!

Perfect beach to learn to surf or play around with a boogie board. Shallow smooth sandy beach with consistent waves. Great temperatures Easy access No worries...very little shade though

Its a very Long Beach to walk on which is great , but its a black sand beach and the vegetation around is not pretty, so its not the best view.

If you are going to be there for a week or more I would recommend a a 4 x 4 and a golf cart. Its fun to travel around on a golf cart but for traveling away from town you will need the vehicle. Unless you are very good at... More
