The tour here was excellent, I also took a tour in salento and thought that hacienda valencia was much better. Lots of information about the coffee process, a walk through the coffee plantations and a pool to relax around for the afternoon. We also took a hike to the top of the plantation where we got stunning views of the... More

I felt like I was transported back in time on this coffee plantation. Hacienda was set up in the mountains overlooking the fields and a river. Tour of ground was extremely informative and I left feeling like a coffee expert. The only thing I would Chang is that I wished I had stayed at the Hacienda for a couple of... More

We were picked up in Manizales and driven to the hacienda for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed learning all about coffee with the very knowledgeable tour guide. We drank lots of coffee, had a lovely lunch, met some nice people from the hostel there, and left feeling it had been one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia! We... More

We loved the trip in general as we've learned a lot and the guide was doing a great job. As the weather wasn't as good we didn't wanna stay all afternoon sitting around, but that meant we had to get back on our own. Considering the price then we were a little sad. Same for lunch not being included.

We stayed at the Venecia resort, so we had to do the tour, and it was so worth doing. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and had all the answers to the coffee questions that came up on the tour. We started in a small room with some coffee tasting, then went and walked through the fields while our... More

We visited on a Saturday and had a great time walking around and learning about coffee production. The tour was in English, we had lunch at the farm and enjoyed their coffee very much!!

I have been on many coffee tours and this was one of the best. The tour guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions and he was never stumped. The tour includes growing, processing and roasting so is very comprehensive. If you stay in a hostel see if the hostel can arrange the tour... More

I have attended numerous coffee tours in the coffee region, but this tour is by far the most comprehensive and informative. I learnt so much from this professional tour and knowledgeable guide (Reru) that I did the tour again the next day. This experience has been the highlight of my 2.5 months in Colombia. Whether you have an interest in coffee... More

In about 3 hours you get to know what it takes to produce great coffee, including its history, a short hike through the coffee fields, finding out how good you are at recognizing aroma's (ranging from hay to leather to apricot), and having a look at how the fruit of the coffee plant ends up being the tasty brown bean...
