We were here on May 6 the day after Liberation Day. All graves were well tended with plays, flowers and vocational Canadian flags. Apparently each grave is adopted and tended by a family. And we were told that there was a waiting list for families...More

As soon as you walk over the gate, it's just silence. This Canadian war cemetary is very impresive. It is a well kept graveyard. Make a visit when you're in the neighbourhood.

We have now visited several of the Allied cemetery's in Europe and are always struck by the row after row of headstones as we enter each one. This one is no different and is a powerful reminder of the cost paid by so many that...More

Please visit here - beautiful cemetery and memorial. We are Canadian so was extra special. Immaculately kept headstones and park. Scenic views.

As with all the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemeteries we have visited, this one is very well cared for and an honour to visit. It is a wonderful tribute to our fallen.

We visited this cemetery to find the grave of my partner's uncle. It is a somber and sobering experience to seen the gravestones and read the ages of these shattered lives. Such potential lost. There is a guestbook to sign.

It is a beautiful location with a panorama of the countryside. Well taken care of with a quiet dignity of the surroundings. Always a pleasure to show my respect to the fallen solider.

My fist day of touring WW2 sites and I stopped at the liberation museum and this cemetery. I was immediately struck by how immaculate and peaceful the location is. The cemeteries of Europe are such moving tributes to those who died to restore freedom and...More
