We visited this cemetery to find the grave of my partner's uncle. It is a somber and sobering experience to seen the gravestones and read the ages of these shattered lives. Such potential lost. There is a guestbook to sign.

It is a beautiful location with a panorama of the countryside. Well taken care of with a quiet dignity of the surroundings. Always a pleasure to show my respect to the fallen solider.

The cemetery is serene and peaceful, a lovely tribute to those brave soldiers. From what I've heard the graves are tended to by local children and they're doing a great job as the grounds are beautiful and the respect is obvious.

Words cannot describe the emotion, the beauty and the everlasting impression this war memorial presents. A must see sight in the solace of Groesbeek (near Nijmegen) where a great many young and brave Canadians liberated "Holland" from suppression and hardship. We will never forget!

We were staying in The Hague, we took the train to Nijmegen, then the bus to Groesbeek for a visit at the Liberation Museum. The bus goes by the cemetery, it would be approximately a 5 minute walk from where the bus stops... More
