Display of old craftmanship

It was lovely to see the big wooden wheels and the wings of the mill in action and to be able to actually whatch the whole process of corn turning into flour. The staff was lovely as well and always eager to say a couple of words about the procedure, the history of the Place of the product. However the entry fee is rather expensive. You basically walk yourself through the mill by yourself which can be a struggle on production days because it gets crowded really fast. Because of that you can fail to see some of the steps shown to you. At the bottom of the mill is a store where you can buy the flour, some local baking mixtures and a variety of mustards which are all produced in the mill. I especially recommend to try some of the mustard. I really liked the one with cranberries.
PS.: the „stairs“ are small, steep ladders and can be difficult to get up and down.

A Must-See!
Jun 2018 • Family
My two kids and I enjoyed our visit. One of the employees we met on the top floor of the windmill was full of information about the windmill and his English was great. It was fun to see all the parts working inside. The hours listed on TripAdvisor aren’t accurate. We drove by just to look at it from the outside because according to TripAdvisor it was supposed to be closed but to our surprise it was open.

False Hours But Good Experience

Trip Advisor says that it is closed every day except Saturday which is incorrect. The staff were friendly and explained how it produces flour

Interesting visit of a functional windmill where flower and mustard are made. You can even taste the different kinds of mostard that are made here before buying one of them in the shop...

quite interesting to see how everything works. you can do a tasting of different mustards. there are two floors, the top floor gives a view from the village. it's so cute. there is also a little Shop where you can buy local products. the shop clerk has a lot of knowledge on them.
