Great exhibition

Very nice museum, definately worth the visit. There is a very big exhibition of watches and clocks and it presents the history of making watches.

this museum is perfectly located within 5 minutes from city center, in the middle of park which host in total 3 museum of La Chaux-de-Fonds. The collection is precious and perfectly enhanced by its presentation.

Highly recommended for private or business visit. Step by step guide through the history of timekeeping. The clocks and watches are beautifully presented. Having a guide is a bonus who will also show you some interesting church clocks in "action". The timepieces one can see are rare and interesting. At the last part you can get detailed information about 20th... More

This museum has an absolutely fantastic collection of clocks and watches and it retraces the history of clocks, especially in the Jura region. The visit was supposed to last about 2 hours but we spent over 3 hours, as there is so much to see!

This museum has the most amazing collection of timepieces. If you like watches in general and appreciate the amazing mechanical work and ingeniousness that you will be able to see in these creations, go for it, you won't be disappointed. Do absolutely take the audio guide, it will provide lots of very interesting information, without it you will miss a... More

The museum itself with its concrete, underground structures is already a show for itself. Great architecture and good design insight. The selection of old clocks is really interesting. Focus on pocket watches and larger models. I missed a bit the transition from old to the more modern watches and a stronger focus on technical development and complications. As you can... More

As an avid collector of vintage watches and dithering for far to long I eventually planned my soujone to the watch/clock making valleys. Along with a fellow enthusiast we planned a half day visit to the museum as part of our itinerary, this was simply not long enough (Oh dear, have to plan another visit). Amazing setting and the staff... More

This museum lives up to its name, there simply is no other specialised horological museum anywhere in the world that cover such a broad array (both era wise, timekeeper type wise, technological wise, and geograohy wise as MIH. Plan to spend a full day there. Equally rich in watches AND clocks. In addition the building (a purpose built underground cavern)... More

This is truly one of the finest museums I have ever visited and it felt so comfortable at any pace of looking and learning. I felt very comfortable being a English only speaker with the information presented too.
