The Teguise Sunday market has a lovely local atmosphere and one can find a number of local handmade treasures such as jewelry, pottery, etc. Knowing that Lanzarote is big on the production of Aloe Vera my friend and I purchase hand, face and body cream...More

I honestly didn't rate it at all ! 90% of the stalls sold the exact same thing. Price wise it was much more expensive than the shops. You could get all the exact same things in the shops at PDC for a lot cheaper. I...More

We were staying at the Playa Bastian complex so got the number 11 bus to Teguise market from the stop across the road. Only costs 2.50 euros per person each way and didn't take that long (20 mins?). Be prepared to fight your way onto...More

Took our two children with us (3 & 5) to the market in teguise. We booked it through our hotel and a coach was laid on by them, which was quicker and cheaper than going through our holiday company. The market is well out of...More

Found ourselves wandering round and round the streets and stalls in Teguise at the Sunday Market. Had a delicious hot dog and cup of pg tips. Bought several tourist items and had coffee and Apple cake.

Always visit this market when we are in Lanzarote, I think it is the best one on the Island. Its huge and yes there is a lot of stuff that is fake, but I'm sure people know they are not buying genuine at the prices...More

Sunday market in Teguise is a very good visit for locally made crafts and clothing, everything from sweaters to glass ornaments. And of course the choice of foods are great. A definite place to visit while in Lanzarote.

The buses run frequently from costa teguise to the old town where the market is every sunday. It takes about 20 minutes and is a pleasant scenic journey.
