Hello readers,, Had to put type in town, my real review, but I will start with the beach... Not massive but does stretch a little with a curve of the shopping esplanade snaking round. Sandy in most places, and used a lot by the local...More

It is a small beach in the centre of Playa Blanca overlooked by the shops, restaurants etc. It is not great and has no facilities but there is a much better beach near a nice marina that has plenty of bars and restaurants a few...More

Nice looking harbour and town but some of shops are a bit tacky. Also a bit too many bars with a few a bit rowdy. Nice landscape and rock formations though on the way into Playa Blanca.

The sea front at Playa Blanca never fails to satisfy and the good news is it is mostly on the level.

Its quite a small beach especially at high tide its practically not there, overlooked by the shops and bars/restaurants. Playa Dorada Beach just 10 mins walk away if far larger/nicer

A nice walk along the prom, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Just behind the prom is a precinct of shops.

A typical tourist town, but to our opinion a bit nicer then Puerto del Carmen. Nice walk near the sea with plenty restaurants and shops

We stayed in Playa for a week in October. Good base with plenty of bars and restaurants. Would stay here again over other resorts on the island.

We have been to Playa Blanca a few times now, and think it is a great little town. Walk along the main street, or along the promenade by the sea for a good mix of shops, restaurants and bars. Walk a further 20 minutes out...More

I would avoid the H10 Lanzarote Princess in summer as all the entertainment is indoors, however, winter time it would probably be just right. I wouldn't call the slope to the beach as "gentle" but it is workable for some one... More

Plenty restaurants will be open. There are bars though depends what you mean by busy. It isn’t a party destination, more folk sitting around having a quiet drink.
