Had booked a kayak trip well in advance and confirmed 2 days before that everything was as planned. 6pm the night before we get a text saying our trip is cancelled due to car problems - huge disappointment as everything was put aside for this excursion and at that time it was too late to book an alternative :-(

We had a great time with Paul. We booked it over the phone from our hotel. Paul took us out and was able to cater to my inexperience and took us to a lovely beach for snorkling. It was meant to be a 3 hour trip but time didn't appear to be a major driving factor. We never felt we were on the clock and got back to shore when we made it. If anyone wants to see Lanzarote from a different angle or just enjoy the peace of being on the sea then got kayaking with Paul.

My partner Lee and I got in touch with Kayak Del Mar (Paul) via Whatsapp. Both of us had never been in a Kayake but had done a wee bit of canoeing before. We felt a bit apprehensive as this was our first time and we were doing it in the Sea. Paul and Richard couldn't have been better instructors and guides. They gave us excellent tuition and let us go at our own pace. We spent a good few hours on the open water and even landed at a near by beach where we could have a bite to eat and a swim. We would recommend Kayak Del Mar to anyone and we will definitely have another go if we manage to get back to Lanzarote. Thanks for an excellent day Paul and Richard :-) Chris and Lee

Spent a really enjoyable morning sea kayaking with these guys on a recent trip to Lanzarote. Contacted them by phone to arrange pick up at the hotel and they were there dead on the arranged time. They charge €45 for a three hour trip, which unlike others in the area providing this service includes the use of enclosed kayaks which are much easier to use in windy\choppy conditions and all other equipment. The guys encourage you to kayak at your own pace and are quick to offer advice to those with less experience. Would recommed to others as a way to see Playa Blanca and it beaches from a different perspective. Cheers guys (Paul) see you next year.

I went on a beginner(ish) sea kayak in July 2015. Paul and Richard were brilliant, arranged everything via WhatsApp and Richard collected us from the bus station and brought us to a small cove in Playa Blanca to start our kayak. My partner and I had been kayaking several times before and had even been sea kayaking but we weren't ready for how strenuous it would be kayaking into the wind! The lads were great about going slowly and making sure we were happy and doing well the entire time. We stopped for 30 minutes or so on a small rocky beach that you could really only get to via kayak/boat. We were only booked in for 3 hours, but the lads were incredibly easy-going and we ended up staying out for 4. They brought all of the gear (kayaks, paddles, life vests, etc.) and even brought some pastries for the half-way point! I had a fantastic time chatting away to both Paul and Richard who had been living and working on the island for several years. They even recommended a few delicious places for dinner. I would definitely go back again, though I'd hope to get a bit stronger with my kayak skills so we could go further than the 15 km we managed. Definitely a must see/do! The lads also do other diving/cycling/etc. tours.
