Not for me
Nov 2015 • Family
The hotel was good, food wasn't, we stayed in Playa Blanca which is a rip off, we were unable to get to the north of the island, even the bus tours were cancelled. Apparently the north of the island is the best place to go.

Winter sun
Oct 2015
Seven times having been to lanzarote and I don't think it will be the last.
October is our time to go so as to get some sun before the winter comes on us.
With temperatures in the high twentys it's just what the doctor ordered.

"LANZAROTE HAS SOME HIDDEN GEMS"
Aug 2015 • Family
We visit Lanzarote about 3 times a year, what a lovely island, there's plenty to do and see, hire a car and visit all of the island there are loads of hidden gems. plenty of lovely beaches, and plenty of lovely eating places. plenty of lovely views. its a great island for families and children of all ages, keep away from the commercial towns and visit the lesser known and save loads on food and drink.

Worth getting off the beaten track
Jul 2015 • Family
Much of the island is too British, in particular around the south\west.
Worth getting a car and scoping out the rest of the island and the traditional towns and villages.
Used Spanish as much as possible and found we had a much better response than the usual tourists because of it.
Extremely windy, and cheap for many things.

The most amazing place, fell in love with the Island instantly
Jul 2014
This truly is the most fabulous place to come and have a holiday. I have always been to mainland Spain and my father lived there for 15 years. We decided to try Lanzarote last year and fell in love with Playa Blanca immediately. We are a family of 4, our children are two boys aged 14 and 11 and they loved it as much as we did. Hence we are going back this year 2015 for our family holiday. There are so many place to see, things to do, the beaches are beautiful, the sea is so clear...restaurants plentiful and always good. What a lovely place to visit...truly!

Be prepared to be "blown away" ...Always has had a reputation for being a bit on the breezy side but when it blows it really blows. Be prepared and take a sweatshirt !!

Playa Blanca
May 2015 • Couples
Have been to Peurto del Carmen, Matagoda and decided as we have had a lot of stress over the past few years to just take a break for a week in May. Stayed at the Corbetta which was excellent except for the sunbeds no cushions on them and as I bruise easily I found these very hard to lie on. Great walk all alon the coast right up to Marina Rubicon. I even went for a run on the first day. Lovely little place and exactly what is required for a break from reality.
