Amazing beach, clear shallow waters and nice sandy beach. Kids loved it and sun beds only 2 or 3 deep so never to fat from the shore!

My partner and I visited Son Bou in June 2018 and the beach was just stunning. Snorkelling is especially good here as there are so many fish to see around the rocky areas but we warned the rocks are VERY sharp - crocs or something...More

We were staying up near Fornells but didn't really like Cala Tirant, so we drove down to Son Bou almost every day. Gorgeous long beach with fine sand. The waves made it more fun for us to jump about in the water. Could also swim...More

Menorca is literally littered with glorious beaches but if you like the luxury of a lounger, Son Bou is hard to beat! Miles of clean sand, rolling waves (hard to get out far enough to swim as very shallow), life guards, a couple of really...More

Nice beach but extremely crowded. No loungers or unbrellas to shade. Visited as part of Tui excursion.

Son Bou beach is long and beautiful, nice to take a walk with your partner or kids, fine sand (good for building sandcastles and laying), but bear in mind that there is a strong current coming to (at least some areas of) this beach, so...More

The beach was lovely and clean and had sun loungers and umbrellas for 17 Euros per day. Unfortunately the weather was against us and we could only go on the beach 5 days out of 9 as there were thunderstorms and wind. In addition the...More

Lovely beach. Can be quite busy but nice to rent the loungers for the day. Bathrooms were also kept clean. Stunning view. Water was very cold.

Throughly enjoyed my time at this beach. Despite not being a huge beach lover. Sea was shallow up to 20 yards out and jumping the waves was good fun. The beach itself was tidy and well looked after. Hire of sun beds was €17 for...More

We were in walking distance of the beach so never had to use the parking facilities. The beach was very popular and the car park always seemed very busy so I'd suggest it'd be an early (ish)start to guarantee a parking spot... More

I went by car myself, but from what I can see on the Internet it should be ok. You should be able to take a bus up to Alaior, and then an other from there down to Son Bou. The route might look complicated on a map, but a lot... More
