What an incredible experience
May 2021
My wife and I decided to stop here in a whim on the way back from another winery. There are very few signs and we weren't sure where to park, or if they were even open. While sitting in the car trying to figure out what to do a man came to the car and said he could provide is a tasting. Apparently he was the owner (we were dumb and didn't catch his name), he said his sister spoke English, but was on another tour. He spoke no English and my wife and I speak very very little Italian. We proceeded anyway. We spent the next 45 minutes learning about the wines and winery (as best that we could all convey and understand). The wines were incredible. We also tried the Chianti Grappa. This is literally the first time in my life I have had any grappa and not wanted to spray my mouth with a fire extinguisher. This was so much fun. I can't wait to go back here, even if we never get a tour in English.

Chianti Classico winery, at its best
Sep 2018 • Couples
We visited the Losi Winery with our Tuscan Escapes wine tour. Valeria from Losi took us on an interesting walk through the vines, discussed cultivars, history of this amazing winery etc. A walk through the cellars was great. Losi also produces excellent olive oil. The wine tasting did not disappoint! We could not resist buying some of their wine and olive oil.

Fabulous Visit and Gracious Host
Mar 2018 • Couples
We stayed two nights at the apartment at the Losi vineyard. Our host Valeria was wonderful and provided us with a tour of her family’s vineyard and cellar along with a tasting. She was so knowledgeable and shared her family’s passion for their work. I would highly recommend a visit to the vineyard or a stay at the apartment if in the area. It is only a 10 minute drive from Siena and has a beautiful view of the city.

This tour was absolutely one of my favorites. From the moment I spoke to Valerie on the phone I fell in love with her kind customer service and ability to accommodate. The tour was even better. She told us about the history of her family, the wine and the town. Showed us the evolution of the winery and the success today. The tasting was out of this world from the wine, to the olive oil and grappa. My friends and I could not be anymore please. I highly recommend this tour. It's personal, private and fantastic!!👌🏼

Gracious visit - Outstanding Family Winery
Apr 2017 • Solo
We had the immense pleasure of a tour of the Famiglia Losi property and winery conducted by Pietro and his son Ricardo which was capped off with a tasting of the Azienda's beautifully made wines. Querciavalle is a quintessential Tuscan family owned and operated winery with wonderful traditions and knowledge that have been passed on for many generations. The setting is also beautiful and serene -- with views the hills around Siena and the nearby Chartreuse monastery of Pontignano. This is worthy and highly recommended stop for any lover of wine and Tuscan culture.

15 minutes from Siena this winery represents the true Chianti wine of Tuscany. The wines are wonderful. From IGT to chianti classico and the reserva is very special. The vinsanto 10year aged white is very distinctive.

Lovely and Interesting Wine Tasting
Aug 2016 • Couples
We found the Ag Azr Losi vineyard randomly as we were staying nearby in Ponte a Bozzone, and it was so easy to book a tasting through the form on their website - Valeria responded to us shortly afterwards by email to confirm the booking, and was very accommodating when we changed the time on the same day!

We had a really lovely time visiting this beautiful vineyard and were warmly welcomed by Valeria, who was so knowledgable and friendly, speaking good English. She explained the whole wine making process from beginning to end, from the different types of vine/grape to the ageing processes and bottling. It's fantastic that this vineyard is still family run after 5 generations, and their range of wines are delightful - we had to buy a case.

We will definitely buy more from Losi in the future, and I would recommend anyone for a visit.

We picked this tour randomly after arriving Tuscany and it turned out to be an amazing experience for us. Valeria is very informative and sweet. She told us many histories of the region and the winery. This is a beautiful family run winery with lots of love into their wines. Highly recommend visiting Valeria if you are in the area.
