I was in Noto for the day in early June. It wasn't that busy even on a Sunday, just a few tourists. Parking was easy on one of the main narrow streets. Lots to see, lovely restaurants, a beautiful, charming town.

Visited here on day trip and found it very charming and the baroque architecture interesting. Lots of tourists but you could get away from the crowds. Wished we had more time there

In November 2021, I spent four nights in the historical center of Noto with my husband and elderly parents as part of our 14-day private tour with HandySicily. I will include a couple of pictures because even the most extravagant adjectives could not possibly describe the beauty of this city. Just...wow!

Of course the center of Noto is choke full of tourists, even in late September. But this cannot distract form the splendid architecture that you can see and enjoy.
One caveat, driving your own car there can be tricky.

The central part of the Old City of Noto is very compact. Most of the points of interest can be visited in 60 to 90 minutes by just strolling Corso Vittorio Emanuele III.

Beautiful town with very impressive baroque buildings and a Roman Villa nearby. The historical museum is also nice despite it hasn’t got many items on display. Lovely destination to visit

Whether or not you like the overly elaborate nature of baroque decorations, the consistent architectural style of Noto's historic centre makes it a worthwhile visit, as it achieves the unique atmosphere of an open air living museum that few urban locations can deliver. The centre of town is easy to visit, devoting as much time as one desires to an inner look of individual buildings (not only churches) in addition to a pleasant stroll along the main streets. Plenty of bars and restaurants are available to add the concrete pleasure of Sicilian cuisine to the spiritual satisfaction of cultural needs.

Ragusa Ibla... e Vigata.
