The whole island is stunning, but Keel is a beautiful beach. I was there in fall but can imagine it is great in summer. Kite surfers were screaming down the beach on windy days, it was a lovely walk on calmer days. And you just can't beat the view.

A great hidden gem with sand and stones and great views must be one of the most beautiful places I have visited.

When I stopped here, the wind was blowing and people were walking the beach in parkas, it was so cold. There were about a dozen windsurfers. The views here were breathtaking -- the seacliffs, the gorgeous azure color of the ocean -- and the surf was pounding.

Stopped here after a coffee in BEEHIVE. We had a lovely walk along the beach, stunning views out to sea and mountains all around. Definitely stop for a look

A walk on Keel is always worth it. Listening to the waves crashing, the wind blowing in your hair, amazing place.

5km sandy beach. Great for sand castles, paddling. Unless weather boiling, consider wetsuits & windbreak if staying for day. No shade from wind or sun. Very exposed to elements.Public toilets available (summer only?). Playground. Blue flag. No cars on beach. Parking available. Can be busy in sunny weather. Shop nearby - expensive & restricted stock (bring picnic). Lots of water... More

Great camping close to the beach, good beginners surf. Nice to see the sheep lolling around. Excellent for families.

Mixture of pebbles and sand beach with beautiful views. Surfing looks popular and the kids enjoyed their time there. A playground is over the road with some fast food vans including one making pancakes we particularly enjoyed.
