I wanted to go to the shop to buy some beer (Ayinger Celebrator, maybe the best beer I have ever tasted). When I asked for the toilet the woman explained the way and then the little adventure started. On the way to the toilet we saw actually parts of the brewery, like the big bins for beer etc. Interesting!

I went on Saturday morning at 10am so the production was shut down. The tour that I took was only offered in German so if you don't understand the language, which I don't, you might want to check other options. Despite not understanding the whole tour, the guide answered my questions in English and since I brew beer and have... More

This was an excellent tour with very generous tastings at the end. Our tour was in German and I don't know if they have tours in English or not as I didn't ask that question. A member of our group translated for the two of us who did not speak German. It's a very clean facility and there are some... More

If you're in Munich, definitely take the time out to visit this pretty little town and taste their tremendous beer! Very easy and quick to get to with the S7 from the city centre. The tour was fascinating, very informative and with lots of beer tasting at the end - delicious! It lasted about 2 hours in total which makes... More

We took the tour with my teenage son and familiy that we were visiting. The tour took about an hour long and was very informative. It was great to see how the beer is made and bottled. to try the spring water, learn about the hops and even taste the beer straight from the taps, however if you don't speak... More

It was my stag do. I asked for a brewery tour. This was where we went and my word it was perfect. The tour guide was brilliant from start to finish. The tour lasted about an hour taking in the brewing, bottling, distribution etc and ended up in the tasting room. We had unlimited choice on 6 types of beer..... More

One of my favorite beer's in the States and could not pass up the chance to go by the brewery on my last visit, and I am so glad I did. If you are a beer fan, this is a visit not to be missed. Now i have a great memory to go with every sip I take of my... More

Accidentally ended up on a German tour, but who cares! Getting off of the train was a shock. Here is a brewery whose beer is highly regarded amongst my beer advocate friends, and the town it is located in seems almost empty! Very quiet area with beautiful views. The brewery tour itself was informative (the tour guide gave us a... More
