Interesting Old Church
Sep 2019 • Friends
St Kilian's Chapel was started in 1472. It's not routinely open but we managed to get inside. It is very tall but still very small. Beautiful woodwork on the doors. Looks good from the outside, enjoy.

Small but beautiful

This is a very beautiful small church. It's very easy to find. Lots of lovely details, including very nice doors.

Simplicity
Dec 2015 • Couples
You are going to walk by the church so it is convenient to stop by. The church has a great back-story. Simpler than many churches we have seen. There is a lot of interesting detail but the church feels different from the overdone baroque and rococo designs

ANOTHER CHURCH
Jul 2013 • Friends
It's right by St. Jacobs, so it is worth sticking your head in the door. Has some history to it, but it is very sparse.

Dating back to 1472
Aug 2012 • Couples
This late Gothic Sint Kilian Chapel, dating back to 1472 and situated opposite the collegiate church, is considered as one of the most beautiful gothic double chapels in Germany. Around the floor a passage with tracery balustrade, a weapon fries, as well as the "Wertheimer monkeys" as a symbol of vanity. Originally built as a chapel for the canons, 1604 Latin school, 1903 as reconstructed Chapel.
