Easy access from Yamanaka-onsen, calm and fresh air! Beautiful bridges and cafe on the river is a great place in summer. 山中温泉ってこんなに素敵なところがあったんですね。渓流沿いに約1時間の散策はとてもさわやかです。

We took a bus from Kagaonsen. It was so lovely strolling the gorge, admiring the handiwork of temples and bridges. We were the only westerners, in fact there were very few people which was lovely. There are so many beautiful trees and plants, so many...More

This was a great way to spend some peaceful time in the Kanga area. Nice place to escape the crowds. The moss and trees are really beautiful.

This was a terrific walk along the river and enjoyed the bridge views. We took the local bus to the river gorge from the hotel which was easy. After completing the walk we stopped and had a cup of tea at the many local cafes

The park is really peaceful and quiet. It has a beautiful view along the river. Distance between 2 bridges is around 1.3 Km. There is a lovely coffee shop close to the Kuratani bridge and also the elegant Higashiyama shrine. It's worth to visit.

we had a wonderful walk along the gorge and the view was breathtaking. I suggest to walk from down stream and walk up to end up in the quaint little town of Kaga Onsen which had lovely coffee shops and eateries.

A gorgeous walking trail in Yamanaka-onsen along the river with interesting bridges. Autumn is amazingly beautiful with colorful leaves and clear sky. It's very easy to access but it's not very crowded
