Lake Tekapo in the snow, just divine. Such a pretty place. Small village atmosphere, some good places to eat and stay.

Beautiful lake. Very picturesque. Make sure to visit this place when the sun is out. It is best experienced without cloud cover. Since this is a tourist spot, expect that you won't be alone.

Went up to the lake one morning it was about a 90 min drive, the roads were quite icy in places, but the sun was out and not a cloud in the sky, it was a beautiful site, don't miss this opportunity.
