I did the 3 hour beginner course with the jetski assist. It was exhausting but exhilarating at the same time. The instructor was great and the equipment is first rate. I had a little prior wake board and stunt kite experience but I wound up getting up on the board and surfing more than I thought I would. Definitely something... More

On my resent trip to Puerto Rico I scheduled a private lesson from 15 knots. I was not able to take advantage of the lesson because the winds that week were not strong enough. However, the people at 15 knots kept in touch with me through out the week in hopes that the wind would pick up. Even though I... More

This was my first time kiteboarding. I took the 3 hour class with jet ski support. My coach was Freddy. He was very thorough with safety, and how to harness the wind power. I am a very experienced wakeboarder, and assumed I would get out there and kill it. Ya...that didn't happen. When wakeboarding you keep your handle at your... More

For travelers on vacation, this is a great activity to experience a cool sport accompanied by true professionals. From the start, the team made me feel safe. The sport itself is super cool. You must try it. For locals, do yourself a favor and learn to kite. There is no excuse for living in an island and not doing this.

15 Knots had excellent instructors! I had 2 separate days with Leo and Dagmar. They were incredibly helpful in helping me understand the mechanics of kite surfing. They had me up and riding, and followed me on the jet ski. I got to experiment with kiting in deep, rough water, but they made me feel comfortable.

My first time trying kiteboarding. Very friendly and most importantly, patient teachers. When the wind did not cooperate, they put me with a second student and we practised with the board and a jet ski. This was difficult. When the wind picked up I was one on one with Andrés who took me out with a kite and I was... More

I took 5 hours of Kiteboarding lessons with Freddy during my recent trip from NYC to PR. It is clear that the guys at 15 Knots are organized and have well developed methods for teaching beginners. The location is great and provided consistent winds. 15 Knots provided the necessary gear and it was in good condition. I highly recommend jet... More
