We couldn't get very close because of the deep snow and ended up going to the handicapped viewing area, which is right beside the road. It was worth stopping, even in winter you can see how this might have influenced painters from the Group of Seven.

It's a lovely location but I wouldn't go far as to say that it's picturesque. It's about 1/2 hour north-west of Sudbury and a good hike to the falls themselves. But, if you haven't been there before, it's worth the climb over the hill to the 'falls' area. There's a bridge that crosses the river above the falls and a... More

We were two couples and visited the falls just as the leaves were changing in the fall. What a beautiful place! The path is easy to walk, up to the end of the bridge. It's a short distance (10 minutes each way) and I would not recommend it for anyone who has challenges walking (I would not take my mother,... More

The falls are beautiful and offer a nice break to stretch your legs or take a bathroom break. The washrooms are basic. We didn't have time to do the short hike but only walked to the lookout. Definitely worth the stop.

very picturesque, the falls and the hills, trees, etc are beautiful. The best time to visit is in the fall (mid October) when the fall colors are at their best.

Great place to visit the falls in the spring when the water level is high or in autumn where when you can take in all the rainbow of colors that nature offers.

We had a great time hiking here. The view are just gorgeous. There are washrooms near the parking lot and an accessible viewing deck. Lots of graffiti on the rocks too.

This area is close to Sudbury and provides a very scenic view of a large waterfalls. Good footwear is recommended and persons with walking problems can see the falls from the AY Jackson lookout right beside Highway 144. The colours in the fall are magnificent.

We wandered around the falls; climbed over rocks and saw Fall colours against the rock back drop that were astounding. Hiking here is not for the faint of heart. It was tough.

This is a moderate walking trail for all ages. It is particularly spectacular in the first 2 weeks of October when the fall colours are at their most beautiful.
